Payment & Refund Policy

Guest Payments Are Final

All payments made by guests through an Asoebi Assist guest portal are final and non-refundable. By completing checkout, guests acknowledge that their payment cannot be reversed through the platform.

Event hosts set their own package prices. Asoebi Assist is not responsible for the pricing decisions made by event hosts.

Payment Processing

Guest payments are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Asoebi Assist does not store card numbers, bank account details, or any sensitive payment credentials.

Accepted payment methods are determined by Stripe and may vary by region. Guests are responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by their bank or card issuer.

Platform Fee

A 5% platform feeis deducted from each guest transaction before the remainder is transferred to the event host's Stripe account. This fee is non-refundable even if an order is later disputed.

Host Payouts

After the platform fee is deducted, the remaining amount is transferred to the event host's connected Stripe account according to Stripe's standard payout schedule. Asoebi Assist does not control payout timing.

Payouts may be delayed or withheld if there are open disputes, outstanding chargebacks, or if the connected account requires additional verification by Stripe.

Disputes and Chargebacks

If a guest initiates a dispute or chargeback with their card issuer, Stripe will handle the dispute process. Asoebi Assist will provide transaction records to support the host's case where possible.

Chargeback amounts — including any fees imposed by Stripe — may be deducted from future payouts to the event host. Hosts are responsible for maintaining accurate records of asoebi orders and delivery.

Cancellations

Asoebi Assist does not offer cancellations initiated through the platform. If a guest needs to cancel an order, they must contact the event host directly. Any decision to refund is at the sole discretion of the event host and must be processed outside of the Asoebi Assist platform.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails during checkout, no charge is applied and no order is recorded. Guests may retry their submission by returning to the guest portal.
